This shows my basic step by step process in painting a still life - 1- Beginning drawing stage 2 - Start at the focal point - center or interest and work out from that point considering edges, value and color relationships and drawing 3 - Gradually add more shapes and values - constantly comparing the relationships - 4 - Bring the painting to a full finish where nothing left on the canvas bothers you.
